31 Oct Variety is the spice of life…

I actually have now lost count of the days since lockdown. I feel as if every day is the same. It’s like being in a parallel universe. One that consists of a Mummy who needs to brush her hair, pee in peace, have a hot beverage, and get a hot shower before my husband comes home from work. Challenge complete….if only!!

One thing that has kept myself and the munchkins going is variety. Who knew the phrase, ‘variety is the spice of life’ would become so applicable! If I’m honest the moments when we are all busy doing crafts or the like, these are the moments where all is well!

Who cares if the house is a riot, the dishes are not done and every item of clothing in the house is now on the floor! A wise friend of mine once said to me, ‘when your girls grow up they won’t remember if your house was tidy or not, but they will remember that their Mama played with them.’ Thank you for this my wonderful friend as I know you are right and that now is the time to make lasting memories my girls will remember forever.
